Having served the customers for over 3 decades the VT range of panels is now completely phased out. Also phased out are the IT and SC ranges. The EW range of panels will replace all that have been phased out.
If you are in the situation where you need to replace a VT panel listed above, please give us a ring to discuss the options and an upgrade path.
IMPORTANT:
If an identical panel cannot be supplied, you will need a source project in order to replace the panel for one that is available. the source project is typically held by OEM, unless it was supplied as a part of a machine purchase contract.A SOURCE PROJECT IS NOT THE CODE WHICH RUNS ON THE EXISTING PANEL. THE CODE WHICH RUNS IN AN EXISTING PANEL IS A COMPILED (RUNTIME) CODE AND CAN ONLY BE UTILIZED IF YOU HAVE AN IDENTICAL PANEL. THE WAY TO USE IT IS TO BACK IT UP AND THEN RESTORE TO AN IDENTICAL PANEL. NO EDITING IS POSSIBLE. IF IN DOUBT, PLEASE CONTACT US.
The VT panels can be upgraded to another VT panel and also to an IT or SC series panel with same or greater capabilities using the POLYMATH HMI software. This is only relevant if you already have the spare unit. As mentioned above, the VT, IT and SC ranges have all been phased out. Please contact us to discuss the most economical option for your situation. The latest range of ESA panels, i.e. the EW (ESAWare) range cannot be upgraded to in any other way but to manually rewrite the whole project. On the other hand, the EW range comes with free programming software called CREW. It is fairly intuitive and easy to master.There are plethora of ESA products we can offer, with more capabilities and features compared to the VT range.
